I value all my readers & your privacy is important to me. Email addresses and names submitted in comment forms will never be sold, rented, or added to any mailing lists without your written consent. The Traveling Thistle is not responsible for the republishing of the content found on this blog to other web sites or media without my permission.

• GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE

Please be thoughtful when you use or share images and content from my blog. Each and every post you find on the blog was created by me (Essie) for The Traveling Thistle (unless stated otherwise). If you share any pictures or text remember that I put my time and effort into every post on this blog. A simple link back to the original content which you found on here is all that I ask.

All photographs on The Traveling Thistle were taken by yours truly unless stated otherwise. In the caption it will be noted with "SOURCE" which will be a clickable link (where applicable) to original photographer or website.

If an image was found on a website where the creative commons allows for editing and redistribution and I edit the image, credit will be provided if it is required in the creative commons license.

• POSTS & COMMENTS

The Traveling Thistle  reserves the right to remove any previous posts without notice or explanation. I love getting comments from readers, however, any comment deemed inappropriate or negative, including but not limited to general spam, offensive comments or rude language, self-promotional spam or other items unrelated to the post will be deleted at my discretion. It's my blog and I'll delete it if I want to.

• AFFILIATES, SPONSORS, SPONSORED POSTS, REVIEWS, GIFTS, COLLABORATION & ADVERTISING

The Traveling Thistle is apart of several affiliate advertising programs. If you click and/or make a purchase through certain links on this site or any related social media platforms, I may make a commission from it.

I purchase most of the products on the blog myself (often with the revenue generated from pay-per-click ads and commission), but sometimes I'm lucky enough to have the opportunity to try and review products sent by brands for consideration. If used, these items (both gifts and products sent for review including reduced rates at hotels, on airfare or other services) will be marked with a 'c/o' indicating "courtesy of".

I reserve the right to reject partnerships with any brand at any time. In order to maintain my integrity I will not accept products that I do not feel are authentic to me as a person or if it does not fit within the confines of the blog. I do not feel that it would be beneficial for myself, The Traveling Thistle or a perspective sponsor to have a negative review. Products or services I find lacking will be returned and the agreement void.  I will only accept and share products that I absolutely love and would gush over regardless of affiliates/sponsorship. As always, the things written either here on the blog or on social media platforms, are my own opinions and not the views or opinions of the companies being represented or anyone else. It's all me. :)

The Traveling Thistle would be delighted to have sponsors because things like domain registration, privacy protection, blog design work, travel and other expenses related to running a blog can be very expensive. All the revenue from advertising will be funneled into making The Traveling Thistle the best blog it can be. If you work for someone and feel your company or brand is a good fit for the blog, please use the contact form on the Advertising page.

• OTHER

Any and all other inquires should be sent directly to my e-mail. I will try my very best to respond to every single e-mail within 24 hours of receipt. Sometimes, for reasons unknown, I may not be able to answer it within that time frame. If that occurs, please forgive me and know that I am not ignoring you. If you do not hear from me within 48 hours (even just to say "I'm swamped right now") please re-send your e-mail as it may have gone into a spam or junk folder.

I have a sophisticated spam blocker; if my e-mail is attached to an email that is being sent to more than 2 other people it will automatically go into spam. Please make sure I am not attached in a chain and that all e-mail communications are for me only. I like to feel special and so does my e-mail.
